General Public
Immunization Clinics
The vaccination is free.
General Public Immunization Clinics are available for everyone 6 months+ at no cost. COVID-19 vaccines protect against infection and severe illness. Booster doses for people 5+ are available now. Influenza vaccines can be received at the same time as COVID-19 vaccines or other routine immunizations. Walk-in clinics are available, or appointments can be booked with an AHS clinic, participating pharmacy, or physician clinic. Children under five must be immunized at an AHS clinic or participating doctor’s office, while Albertans aged five and older are encouraged to go to a pharmacy.

It is safe to get the influenza vaccine and COVID-19 vaccine at the same time, and/or at the same time as other routine immunizations.

You don’t need to have an appointment for each vaccine type in order to receive them. If you have an appointment for yourself or your child for a routine immunization or COVID-19 immunization – when you get to your appointment, you can ask your healthcare provider if you want to also receive the influenza vaccine at the same time.
